How do I schedule, change, or cancel an appointment?

-To schedule an appointment, call the DermTexas clinic location where you would like receive care or simply click the Contact Us box below. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call the clinic at least 24 hours before the appointment. If there are any outstanding issues, our staff will be happy to help you.

What type of skin problems do you see?

-In dermatology, there are many different skin conditions and diseases. The dermatologists at DermTexas are trained to provide excellent comprehensive dermatology care to diagnosis and treat your individual skin condition.

How do I pay?

-Payments are expected at the time of service, which include copayments, co-insurance, un-met deductible, and non-covered charges from your insurance company. If you do not carry insurance, or if your coverage is currently under a pre-existing condition clause, payment in full is expected at the time of your visit. Please bring your photo ID along with your insurance card to every office visit. We may have to reschedule your appointment if you do not have this information with you. We will accept cash, check, or credit card.

What insurances do you accept?

-DermTexas accepts many major insurances along with Medicare and Medicaid. For more information regarding your plan, please call our billing specialists at 214-845-6426 to determine if your insurance is accepted. 

Who do I call if I have a billing question?

-If you receive a bill or Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and are unsure about specifics of the item, please feel free to call our billing personnel for further assistance. Our billing experts will be able to access and assess your account and help you address your concerns.

How much will I owe at the time of my visit?

-DermTexas will collect a co-pay depending on your insurance policy, the amount of which is pre-determined by your insurance provider. If you have a high deductible health insurance plan, you will be asked to bring a pre-determined deposit. We recommend that you check with our billing office to make arrangements if this is the case.
